Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the BauBau mobile application and web portal (the “Service”) operated by BauBau (“we”, “our”, “us”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BauBau is a dog reactivity tracking platform that allows dog owners to log encounters, view analytics, and share progress with dog behaviour professionals. Behavioralists can access a web portal to view client data and manage their practice.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• One person may not maintain more than one account without our prior written consent.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Mobile App (Dog Owners)

The Service offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Mobile subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat. Pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation policies are governed by the respective app store terms.

Web Portal (Behavioralists)

Behavioralist subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You may cancel at any time through the subscription management portal.

Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods. At the end of a trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its systems
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on intellectual property rights
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service (encounter logs, dog profiles, notes, photos). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence tostore, process, and display your data as necessary to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

7. Sharing and Behavioralist Access

When you share a connection code with a behavioralist, you authorise them to view your dog's encounter data and analytics. You can revoke this access at any time by removing the behavioralist connection from your account.

8. Disclaimer

BauBau is a data tracking and analytics tool. It does not provide veterinary or professional dog behaviour advice. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Always consult a qualified professional for behaviour or health concerns about your dog.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BauBau shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
